Winemaker Notes
Rhone (white) blends are so appealing and complex. It's a real pity that their vibrant aromatics often get overlooked. This blend, the Gourts de Mautens, is a particular wine that we're very happy to see back in the market again. It's comprosed of Biodynamic Grenache Blanc but also includes Grenache Gris, Bourboulenc, Clairette, Picardan, Roussanne, Marsanne, Viognier, Picpoul Blanc and Picpoul Gris. Lots of stone fruit character with notes of pineapple and yellow apple

WineSlash Notes
Imagine yourself transported to a sun-kissed hillside in the southern Rhône Valley. The air is perfumed with the scent of wildflowers, and the vines that stretch out before you are heavy with plump, ripe grapes. As you wander through the rows of vines, you come across a small, unassuming winery - the home of Jerome Bressy's Domaine Gourt de Mautens.
Inside, you are greeted by the sight of wooden barrels stacked high to the ceiling, filled with the precious liquid that will soon become the 2015 Jerome Bressy Domaine Gourt de Mautens Blanc. This wine is a true gem, crafted from a blend of traditional Rhône varietals like Roussanne, Marsanne, and Viognier.
As you take your first sip, your taste buds are treated to a complex array of flavors - notes of honey, peach, and apricot dance across your palate, while a hint of minerality adds depth and complexity. The wine is rich and full-bodied, with a silky-smooth texture and a long, lingering finish that leaves you yearning for more.
But this wine is more than just a delicious indulgence - it is a reflection of the centuries-old winemaking traditions that have made the Rhône Valley famous. Jerome Bressy is a master of his craft, and his Domaine Gourt de Mautens Blanc is a true testament to the artistry and passion that goes into every bottle. So why should you buy it? Because this wine is more than just a beverage - it is a journey into the heart of French winemaking culture.
