Winemaker Jed Steele has an impressive 50 years of winemaking experience, which began in the cellar at Stony Hill in 1968. Jed settled on Sangiacomo’s Green Acres Vineyard to craft his first Pinot Noir under his namesake. Green Acres was also the Sangiacomo’s first vineyard, which they planted in 1969, and it’s their most sought-after with the greatest number of Sangiacomo-designated wines produced from it.
"Sangiacomo Pinot Noir opens with notes of fresh fruit, red currants, bing cherries, with floral tones. The palate is soft, medium-bodied, textured, with refreshing red berry flavors and minerality.”
