The new release 2021 Setting Cabernet is in the house!
With the massive scores and the amazing vintage, the 2021 took a price increase at the winery, but I had already negotiated our price prior to the release so we got grandfathered in!
In November 2021, winemaker Jesse Katz made headlines when his six-liter bottle of The Setting Glass Slipper Cabernet sold for a record-breaking $1 million dollars!
Superstar Chef Emeril Lagasse took a picture of it, and I'm just glad he didn't drop it.
The Colorado native was the first-ever winemaker named to the Forbes 30 under 30 and was honored by Wine Enthusiast as a Top 40 under 40.
He serves as a consulting winemaker for several boldface names, including Von Miller, Tony Hawk, and Justin Timberlake, who served Katz’s wine at his 2012 wedding to Jessica Biel.
Katz is a veteran of some of the world’s most famous wineries, including Château Petrus, Lancaster Estate, and Screaming Eagle.
His Bordeaux-style wines look set to play in their league one day.
