2022 Three Revelers Cabernet, Napa Valley
Single-block Stagecoach Cabernet from Three Revelers, blueberry and graphite on mountain tannin, a 2022 you can open at forty-five dollars.
The 2022 Three Revelers Cabernet draws from a single block at Stagecoach Vineyard: blueberry, blackberry, cassis, cocoa, and graphite on polished mountain tannin, now $45.
A named Napa mountain block, winemaker undisclosed, bottle in the glass
Three Revelers is a named Napa Cabernet house, not a mystery redaction. This 2022 is single-block fruit from Stagecoach Vineyard, 1,200 to 1,750 feet on rocky volcanic ground. The winemaker stays undisclosed by agreement. The live page does not name a hidden producer, so we will not invent one. Wax top, heavyweight glass, 14.5 percent alcohol. Blueberry, cassis, cocoa, graphite. Decant 60 to 90 minutes. This is mountain Cabernet at a table price.

The vineyard
Stagecoach climbs steep volcanic terrain across more than 600 planted acres and 204 blocks. This bottling narrows that property to one block.
The wine
Cabernet Sauvignon, label designation. 14.5% ABV. Wax top, heavyweight bottle. Winemaker undisclosed by agreement.
The glass
Blueberry, blackberry, cassis, cocoa, graphite, warm spice, polished mountain tannin.
The drinker
Decant 60 to 90 minutes. Serve 60 to 64 F. Grilled rib-eye with rosemary potatoes, or braised short ribs over polenta.
Blue-black fruit first, mountain structure underneath
Blueberry, blackberry, cassis, ripe plum, and dark cherry open the profile. Cocoa and warm spice arrive behind the fruit. Graphite-edged mountain tannin keeps every sip organized. Full-bodied and polished, generous without drifting into softness.

Napa Valley Vintners described 2022 reds as deeply colored, fruit-forward, and structured with luxurious tannins. That is regional context, not a review of this exact bottle. A 60 to 90 minute decant opens this 2022 now. The supplied cellar frame is 10-plus years.
Blueberry, blackberry, cassis, ripe plum, dark cherry, cocoa, warm spice, graphite.
Full, 14.5% ABV, polished mountain tannin, graphite grip.
Dark fruit, cocoa, spice. Decant 60 to 90 minutes. Serve 60 to 64 F.
Single-block fruit, shaped by altitude and rock
The technical story begins with the vineyard. Stagecoach supplies the tension. The cellar keeps the fruit polished and accessible. This wine comes from one defined block on thin, rocky volcanic ground. The supplied tasting frame is blueberry, blackberry, and cassis, then cocoa, graphite, and warm spice. The winemaker remains undisclosed by agreement. We will not fill that redaction with a name the live page does not print.

Wax top and heavyweight glass signal a serious Cabernet built for a long decant now and a 10-plus-year cellar horizon.
Air is for cassis and graphite, not a rescue. Serve 60 to 64 F in a Bordeaux bowl.
Stagecoach was hard country before it became Cabernet country
The vineyard's story is steep terrain, volcanic rock, and the persistence required to turn an improbable mountain property into a defining Napa source.

In the 1800s, stagecoaches crossed these eastern Napa hills between St. Helena and Monticello. The landscape was rugged enough to attract Black Bart, whose robberies gave the modern vineyard its name.
Jan Krupp began developing the property in 1995 after finding old vines. Over seven years, crews removed more than one billion pounds of volcanic rock and found the water needed to farm the mountain.
Stagecoach now holds more than 600 planted acres across 204 blocks. This Three Revelers bottling is one block of that country: blue-black fruit and mountain structure, named on the live page.
Steakhouse char or slow-braised depth
Cabernet this structured wants browned meat, savory reduction, and enough richness to soften tannin without muting the fruit.
Two plates. One grilled rib-eye with roasted rosemary potatoes. One red wine-braised short ribs over creamy polenta.
Serve 60 to 64 F. Decant 60 to 90 minutes while the meat rests or the braise finishes.
Grilled Rib-Eye Steaks with Roasted Rosemary Potatoes
Deep sear and rosemary meet the Cabernet at its most immediate: dark fruit against browned beef, savory herbs against graphite and spice.
Why it works: Marbling softens mountain tannin. Crisp potatoes and rosemary echo the warm, savory finish.

Red Wine-Braised Short Ribs with Creamy Polenta
Slow braising builds a glossy, savory sauce that matches the wine's depth, while creamy polenta turns the pairing generous without making it heavy.
Why it works: Tender beef meets cassis and cocoa. Polenta rounds the tannin and keeps the graphite finish clear.
