"A big-league effort, with a firm, tight core of graphite-laced black and wild berry, shaded by spicy, chewy oak and tannins and ending with a powerful aftertaste that bodes well for the future." Drink now through 2028.

Joe Carr and Aaron Potts go big with their 2013 RUTHERFORD Cabernet!

This wine was originally saved for Carr Club Members Only and was stashed away! One of the best wines Potts has ever produced, besting some of his Blackbird, Dylan's' Ghost , and Quixote releases. The 2013 Rutherford was quickly shipped off knowing professional publication reviews would come back sky high - and that they did! 93 from Suckling; even more impressive a 91 and "Top Value" award from WS; Gold from SF Wine Competition; and 90WE from VIRGINIE BOONE; the toughest professional wine critic! This is one of the highest scoring, best tasting Rutherford Single Vineyard Cabernet for under $40!

This Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from Napa’s acclaimed Rutherford AVA. Its climate is warmer than Oakville and Stags Leap District to the south but is still marginally influenced by early morning fogs, an environment which creates rich flavors in wine without sacrificing freshness.

Carr's Rutherford Cabernet is packed full of “Rutherford Dust,” a term describing their distinctive dusty finely grained tannins and robust full flavors.
