"Inky purple. An exotically perfumed bouquet evokes dark berry preserves, incense and lavender, with a bright mineral overtone. Sappy, penetrating black raspberry and bitter cherry flavors show excellent depth and energy, picking up floral pastille and vanilla nuances with air. Finishes with superb clarity, subtle tannins and outstanding, floral-driven persistence."
'Pavi 2012 Napa Cabernet' comes solely from the famed Oakville Pelissa Vineyard also known as “BV 7”. The "BV7" Vineyard is one of the most awarded and famed vineyards in Napa history responsible for Georges de Latour Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon.
Crafted by Napa Valley Wine Company head winemaker Rob Lawson and sold exclusively at the Tasting Room. Lawson is also responsible for making wine for: Mirror Vineyards, Ghost Block, Johndrow Vineyards, Kapcsandy amongst others.
Only 2 barrels (50 cases) produced on this cult Oakville Cabernet and we as almost all of it, yup we pigged out but didn't want to take the very last bit, that would just be rude. (lol....)
