2023 Oomrang Estate Siegerrebe Puget Sound, USA
Oomrang's fragrant estate Siegerrebe, floral and gently off-dry, a conversation white at sixty-five dollars.
The 2023 Siegerrebe is floral on the nose, gently off-dry on the palate, and long on the finish, now $65.
A conversation bottle for people who love aromatic whites
Siegerrebe is still a discovery grape. Oomrang makes a version that is inviting and precise: floral, gently off-dry, long. It has enough perfume to start a conversation and enough finish to hold a spicy plate.

The house
The Stoeckleins planted German aromatics on a Puget Sound farm because the climate can actually ripen them with freshness.
The wine
Estate Siegerrebe. Semi-dry, floral, long finish. 12% ABV.
The grape
A rare German white. Perfume first, then orchard fruit, then a soft close.
The drinker
Serve cold. Thai coconut shrimp curry or grilled halibut with mango salsa.
Fragrance first, then a gentle sweetness
Floral on the nose, orchard fruit on the palate, a semi-dry close that cushions spice instead of fighting it.

A cool maritime year that favors perfume. Siegerrebe stays fragrant without turning heavy.
Floral perfume, orchard fruit, a hint of spice and tropical lift.
Semi-dry, lower acid, 12% ABV, long finish.
Lingering and fragrant. Serve cold. Five to ten minutes in the glass helps the florals bloom.
Careful estate farming, handled for purity
Grow Siegerrebe in the right place, pick clean fruit, and let the variety speak. Oomrang's technical story is that simple. The grape is the show.

Siegerrebe is a German aromatic with Gewurztraminer in its family tree. In Puget Sound it stays floral and gently off-dry rather than oily.
Serve cold. No decant. Spice-friendly food is the brief.
A family project turned distinctive Puget Sound estate
What started as a Thanksgiving basement experiment grew into one of Washington's most distinctive small white-wine stories.

Edmund and Christine Stoecklein chose German varieties that other Washington houses ignore. Siegerrebe is the most fragrant of that set.
The estate remains small: an 85-acre farm with about 22 acres planted. The wines stay personal because the vineyard is personal.
This 2023 is the bottle you pour when you want the table to lean in.
Spice, coconut, then mango salsa
A semi-dry aromatic white wants coconut curry or a bright grilled fish with fruit salsa.
Two plates. One Thai coconut shrimp curry. One grilled halibut with mango salsa.
Serve cold. No decant. Five to ten minutes in the glass helps the florals bloom.
Thai Coconut Shrimp and Basil Curry
Creamy coconut, basil, and shrimp. The aromatics echo the perfume of the wine.
Why it works: Gentle sweetness and floral profile tame heat and bring out orchard fruit.

Grilled Halibut with Mango Salsa
Halibut keeps the pairing clean. Mango salsa picks up the floral fruit.
Why it works: Mango and citrus amplify aromatic lift. The fish lets the delicate finish stay in focus.
